It appears that President Estrada has committed himself to help keep Philippine Airlines flying. Finance Secretary Edgardo Espiritu said that the President is thinking of requesting $150-million from a Japanese regional aid fond for PAL. If it can be done, that will be good news for PAL and its workers, also to the Filipino people.
