A five year ban on strikes in firms regarded as vital to national interest has been proposed in a bill filed by Rep. Salacnib Baterina.
Baterina listed some of the firms covered, including those engaged in water distribution, power, and airlines.
“The aim is to avert paralysis of services vital to national interest,” he says.
A measure that merits speedy congressional action.
