The strike at the Philippine Airlines (PAL) should be solved as quickly as possible before it adversely affects the national economy. The strike is illegal because it is in defiance of orders from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). While it is true that there are now other airline companies, they cannot handle all the cargo and baggage services of PAL.
